This product is manufactured by a company called Gordon Laboratories, a company that has decades of experience behind it. They are a trustworthy brand and have a reputable name in the industry so we were intrigued to look into what ingredients they decided to use for a wart remover. We were somewhat surprised to discover that their wart remover is made up of just two simple ingredients: Salicylic acid at 16.7% strength and Flexible Collodion, so we were curious to examine whether this product is as effective as it claims to be.
Salicylic acid has been clinically proven to be effective at helping ward off warts since it targets the outermost epidermal layer of skin, so constant application to a wart that has been soaking in warm water for a few minutes should slowly but surely diminish it by removing the outer layers of skin. However, the downside is that it has absolutely no supporting ingredients to combat other issues that arise with the process of getting rid of a wart. We would have liked to see healing oils such as Tea tree oil which is known for its bacteria and virus killing properties, as well as the anti-inflammatory component, D-Limonene citrus oil.
One of the most reliable indicators as to whether this product is effective or not is to look at the feedback from real customers who have used the product and can attest as to its efficacy. For the most part we found the reviews to be positive, with customers claiming that it did work for them, however there seemed to be a common complaint that the liquid solidified within a number of weeks, significantly before the expiration date and once that happened it was of no use anymore. The reason for this, in our opinion, is the addition of the Flexible Collodion which is used in this case as a disinfectant, however in other medical cases, it is used as a glue. This would explain the reason for the solidification of the solution. This is somewhat disappointing, since one would potentially have to buy multiple bottles to effectively get rid of the warts which may result in a much larger expense than they thought, and from what we found, there were no multi-package deals.
Another indication we look for as to whether a product is effective or not is whether there is a satisfaction guarantee or not which unfortunately in this case, there is none. The seller offers a standard money-back guarantee for closed products that need to be returned within a specific amount of time and in their original packaging. It’s a bit disappointing to see the reluctance of offering a money-back guarantee.
In general there is no reason for this product not to be considered safe to take. The ingredients are all-natural, pure ingredients and there are no added fillers or artificial ingredients. The product is made in a cGMP facility. As with all topical solutions, however, we recommend consulting with your health care provider before starting any new regimen. The manufacturer also warns against using this product if you suffer from diabetes, have liver or kidney problems or blood circulation issues.

We like products that take it a step further than their peers offering a formula backed by scientific data and research such as our top choice. While we think the addition of Flexible Collodion is actually innovative, it would seem to be the cause of the solution solidifying after a short time which means customers don’t get use of the entire contents of the bottle which may lead to more expenses on additional products. Unfortunately we discovered this is a troubling issue amongst consumers, having found many complaints regarding the solution becoming unusable.
We found this product to be promising, however we would have appreciated the seller offering a satisfaction guarantee giving customers the confidence that should it not work for them, they are guaranteed their money back. This makes us question the product and how effective it really is. We would have liked to see this company take this product a few steps further and create a product that offers more than the common Salicylic acid formula. Unfortunately this was not the case, but with a few more factors involved, it would push this product above the competition.
